Roma Ann Myers, 81, of Roanoke went home to be with the Lord Thursday, September 1, 2016.
Roma was a longtime active member of Enon Baptist Church. She loved to sew, cook and garden.
Surviving are her husband of 64 years, Paul Raymond Myers, children, Teresa (Clifton) Hambrick, Gary Myers, Mark (Jennie) Myers, Tamara Myers; grandchildren, Jacob (Shanan) Hambrick, Amy (Derek) Peterson, Aaron Hambrick, Perry Myers, Melissa (Chris) Williamson, Sara Myers and Johnnie Myers; eleven great grandchildren, half brother, Maurice Fisher; step sister, Nancy Helm and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to the American Cancer Society.
Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Saturday, September 3, 2016 at Simpson Funeral Home 5160 Peters Creek Road by the Rev. Troy Mays. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Arrangements by Simpson Funeral Home. 366-0707
