Joyce E. Stump, 96, of Roanoke, peacefully passed away Saturday August 27, 2016. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alton B. Stump, of Roanoke and a son, Dennis B. Stump, of Waldorf, Md.
Survivors include her son, Kenneth of Roanoke; daughter-in-law, Joanie Stump of Waldorf, Md.; three grandchildren, Courtney Campbell, Jason Stump and Kelly Stump all of Roanoke, along with several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00p.m. Thursday September 1, 2016 in Simpson Funeral Home, 5160 Peters Creek Road, Roanoke. Inurnment will be private
