Obituary of Ruby Jean Weaver

Ruby Jean Weaver 72 of Roanoke went to be with the Lord on Monday July 25, 2016. She was preceded by her parents, Charles and Lena McFalls, two sisters, MaryLou Roach and Virgie Broughman. Ruby had a great love for humming birds, and was a dedicated mother, grandmother, and friend who will be dearly missed by all. Left to cherish her memory are a brother, David McFalls and wife Hazel; her children, a son, Mike McFalls; daughters, Regina Stacy and fiancé Bobby Dudley, Jackie Burr and husband Steve; eight grandchildren, Justin, Stephen, and Trevor Stacy, Dusty Dudley, Timothy, Joshua, Steven, and Jeremy Burr; two great grandchildren; a lifelong friend, Casey Jones; her feline companion, Snowball. Along with a host of other relatives and dear friends. A Celebration of Life Service will be held 1:00p Friday July 29, 2016 in Simpson Funeral Home with Pastor James Jordan officiating. Entombment will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends Thursday July 28, 2016 from 2:00 - 4:00p and 6:00 - 8:00p at Simpson Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers family asks that donations be made to Simpson Funeral Home in Ruby's memory to help off set the cost of the services.
