Obituary of Marguerite Sue Gill

On July 10, 2016, our mom Marguerite Labenberg Gill, went home to our heavenly Fathers house to join her husband, Leslie A. Gill, and her son Christopher D. Gill, after a short illness. She was affectionately known as Bunny as she was born on Easter Sunday.
Our mother leaves in love we five girls, Pat Poff and husband Charles, Teri Fisher and husband James, Rachel Gill, Cathy Gill, Leslie Equi and husband Patrick; along with 7 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren. During her time with her many caretakers she was often recognized as the feisty little lady who worked for so long at the Salem Wal-Mart.
She often hoped one day Elvis would sing for her so we pray he will. She was a member of Our Lady of Nazareth Catholic Church. She loved the church family and its wonderful caring staff and asks that in lieu of flowers that donations be given to Our Lady of Nazareth Catholic Church or St. Jude’s Children Hospital.
Our mom’s life will be honored with a memorial service on Saturday, July 23, 2016 at 2:30 p.m. at Simpson Funeral Home Chapel with Deacon Richard Surrusco officiating. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to service time. Arrangements by Simpson Funeral Home. (540)366-0707.
