Gloria M. Graves, 74, of Roanoke, went to be with the Lord, Friday, June 17, 2016. Gloria was preceded in death by her parents John & Eva Dickerson; husband Curtis E. Graves; as well as 9 siblings. She is survived by her daughter Melissa S. Graves; very close brother George Dickerson; several nieces and nephews; special sister-in-law Reda Hixon and family; brother-in-law James "Bunny" Graves and wife Barbara; special nephew Randy Whitaker and family; close special friends Hazel Ferrell, Lillian Porter, and Janice Marine. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Sunday, June 19, 2016 at Simpson Funeral Home. Services will be held Monday, June 20, 2016 at 2 p.m. at Simpson Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow services at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Simpson Funeral Home & Crematory (540) 366-0707.
