Cleo Sisson DeWeese, 92, of Bent Mountain passed away on Thursday, May 26, 2016. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Marshall A. and Roxie Manning Sisson; husband William C. (Bill) DeWeese; daughter, Sue Ann DeWeese; sister, Iris Hunt and twin sister, Leo Simpson, and brother Cleatus Sisson.
Surviving are her daughter, Christine Steppe and husband Chuck of King George; sons, Donald N. DeWeese of Bent Mountain, and Calvin P. DeWeese of Waverly, GA; grandsons, Charles L. Steppe, Jr. and wife Jill, Thomas W. Steppe; great grandchildren, Colleen and Charles (Chase) Steppe.
Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Monday, May 30, 2016 at Simpson Funeral Home 5160 Peters Creek Road. A graveside service will be conducted 3:30 p.m. Monday in Copper Hill Church of the Brethren Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Sunday and one hour prior to the funeral service.
