Thomas (Tommy) Gabris, 88, of Roanoke passed away, Saturday, June 2, 2012. He served with the Army's 82nd Airborne Division in World War II. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bea Bowers Gabris, mother and father, four brothers, and two sisters. Surviving are one brother, Charles Gabris, his son Butch, and daughter Gwen, all of Detroit; two nieces, Marquirta Mathena and Jeannie; nephews, Bob and David Gabris and their families. A special thanks to Mary Sizemore who was a dear friend and companion to Tommy for 22 years. And a very special thanks to Mac who was a wonderful neighbor and friend. Burial will be at a later date in Roselawn Cemetery, Princeton, West Virginia. Arrangements by Simpson Funeral Home & Crematory. 366-0707
