Dear Madeline and family: I knew his time was short, but I was hoping to see Bill one more time. So sorry, I was not able to make that visit. With a little luck, I hope to be able to attend the Service tomorrow!
I enjoyed my visits with Bill, when he was in PT at Friendship Manor and other times during my 2 years of serving at Blue Ridge! He is a man of integrity, who survived some terrible things in WWII ! He will always be a hero to me. Reading his obituary, gave me a glimpse into the life he had before his lungs began to fail.
Madeline, I know you will miss him greatly! You two had many good years together and you will have many memories to comfort you!
