Obituary of Betty Sue Dudding Hawley

Betty Sue Dudding Hawley 77 of Salem passed from her earthly body to her Heavenly home with her Savior on Tuesday May 17, 2016 at 9:20pm. She was the daughter of the late Willie and Margaret Dudding and survived by her husband, Garfield Hawley; son and daughter-in-law, Ken and Ann Hawley of Roanoke; and a daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Joe Austin of Covington. And was blessed with twelve grandchildren; ten great grandchildren who all brightened her world. Also surviving are four sisters and brothers-in-law. Mrs. Hawley was a long time member of the Salem Pentecostal Holiness Church and worked for Brooks-Byrd Pharmacy in Salem for several years. A funeral service celebrating the life of Mrs. Hawley will be held 1:00pm Friday May 20, 2016 in Simpson Funeral Home with Rev. Glennard Quesenberry and Rev. Kenneth Kingrea officiating. Interment will follow in Sherwood Memorial Park. Family will receive friends Thursday evening May 19, 2016 from 6:00-8:30pm at Simpson Funeral Home. In addition, from 12:00pm until service time on Friday May 20, 2016 at Simpson Funeral Home.
