Obituary of Ruth Tincher Fizer

Ruth Tincher Fizer, 74, of Roanoke, Virginia, passed away at her home on Wednesday, May 4, 2016, after suffering a long illness. Her loved ones are rejoicing, for she has been received by the Lord, Jesus Christ, and has entered the Kingdom of Heaven. Ruth is preceded in death by her parents, Dolph and Mary Wade, and her brother Arnold Tincher. She is survived by her daughter, Donna Ross (Steve), sister, JoAnne Davis (Norman); grandsons, Chris & Tony Ross; and great-granddaughters, Haley Ross and Madison Paxton. Ruth retired from Second Alarm Restaurant and will be remembered by many who lovingly knew her as Ruthie or RuRu. She will truly be missed by her family and many friends. Ruth loved John 3:16 “For God so loved the World that he gave his only begotten son, for whosoever believes in him shall not perish, but have everlasting life.” Ruth is finally at peace, renewed, and in the presence of the Lord Jesus Christ.
