Francis G. Bistransky, 87, of Roanoke, formerly of Johnstown, Pa., went to be with the Lord Sunday, April 24, 2016.
Mr. Bistransky served proudly in the United States Navy during the Korean War. He enjoyed his retirement by playing Pinochle at the Brambleton Center or just staying busy.
He will be sadly missed by his daughters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sisters, brothers, and his Pinochle friends at Brambleton Center.
In lieu of flowers, family asks donations to any Veterans Organization or the American Cancer Association.
