Gerald Monroe Dillon 70 of Moneta passed away Thursday April 21, 2016. His mother, and father, Gladys and Arnold Dillon of Radford, preceded him.
An avid hunter and fisherman, he had a love of gardening, and many of the Arts, and was very talented at both. Gerald enjoyed his home of 31 years at SML, and doting on his 3 cats.
A Vietnam Veteran and a retiree from GE in 1998 is survived by his two sisters, Diane Simpson and Drema Nester and their families. Along with a host of other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, Gerald would like you to donate to your local Animal Shelter.
A Military Service will be held in his honor in the Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery, Dublin, Virginia later this week.
The day and time will be poster and a obituary will follow in the Roanoke Times when arrangements are finalized.
