I was really sorry to hear of Steve's death. I found out the Sunday after it happened when I went to Roanoke Memorial Hospital to check on him after church. I am very very sorry that He died. I had just done a filling on him earlier in the week and he was somewhat pale and didn't have the usual energy level for him. On Saturday he complained of upper abdominal pain and they were giving him blood and one or two other iv's. I knew his case was fragile somewhat but chose to leave because I had a number of other things to do. Steve thought he had an ulcer and likely he did. The patient representative said something happened and he passed. Perhaps he had the ulcer and it perforated. I am just speculating but it sounds reasonable. Anyhow, it shocked me to learn that he had died. I pray your comfort.
Take good care and feel free to call me if you wish.

Sometimes, if we are lucky, we are blessed in life by people who simply choose to become our biggest cheerleaders and personal fans even when we don't know what we ever did to deserve them. These are special individuals who lift us up and often believe in us more than we believe in ourselves. Steve was one such person and I'm saddened by his passing. My condolences to his family. He will be missed.
