Obituary of Diane Mary Mangels

Diane Mary Mangels, 64, of Burnsville and formerly of Blue Ridge, Virginia passed away Thursday, April 14, 2016 after a courageous battle with ALS. Diane worked alongside her husband, Chris, at Bestel. They traveled the world together but her love was always the ocean. Her favorite places were Oak Island, NC and the Caribbean. She is survived by her best friend and husband of 45 years, Chris; her mother, Eileen Rindos; her sisters, Helene Brue and Cathleen Rensing; her brother, Tom Nesbitt; her two adoring daughters and son-in-law; Kimberly Mangels, Heather and husband Ryan Pace; and a very, very special grandbaby, Tyler who loves his “Ninny” very much! A celebration of her life will be held May 1, 2016 at 2 p.m. at Billy's Barn in Salem, Va. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the ALS Association.
