Daniel Warren Botelho, 79, of Salem went home to be with the Lord, Friday, April 15, 2016. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Emma Silva. Mr. Botelho retired after 21 years of service in the U S Air Force.
He was an avid outdoorsman, horseman and collector with a special love for Civil War History.
Surviving are his wife, June Botelho; daughter, Michelle Botelho; grandchildren, Ryan and Shelby Revia; great grandson, Camden Hicks; sister, Arlene Nunez; and an aunt, Geraldine Graff.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorials be made to the American Cancer Society or to Carilion Clinic Hospice.
A celebration of Dan's life will be held noon Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at Simpson Funeral Home 5160 Peters Creek Road. The family will receive friends following the service. Arrangements by Simpson Funeral Home & Crematory. 366-0707
