Herman “Lee” Ferguson 84 of Salem passed away Saturday April 9, 2016. He was preceded by his father, Hayden Charles Ferguson, Sr., mother, Daisy Chewing Craft, brother, Hayden Charles Ferguson, Jr., and sister, Lucille Ferguson Shell.
Mr. Ferguson served proudly with the United States Air Force during the Korean War. He retired from N & W Railroad.
Surviving are his wife, Eloise Horsley Ferguson; a son, Michael Lee Ferguson; daughter, Tammie Jo Ferguson-Lee; a grandson, Roger “Rocky” Dale Woolwine, III; sister-in-law, Mildred G. Horsley; brother-in-law, Henry C. Horsley, along with a good friend, Margaret “Miss Kitty” Akers.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations made to your favorite charity will be grateful.
Per family wishes, services will be private.
