Obituary of Jason Lee Winters

Jason Lee “Redman” Winters 38 of Roanoke was called home to be with the Lord on Tuesday February 23, 2016. Jason is a member of Cornerstone Church and was employed by Salem VA Medical Center in Central Supply. A fanatic gun lover who enjoyed all types of firearms. Jason is a very loving and caring husband, father, son, and friend who will be dearly missed by all who knew him. Left to cherish his memory are his loving and devoted wife and friend of 12 years, C J Winters; three children, Corey, Seth, and Jalynne; parents, Bonnie and Jesse Winters, Jr.; a sister, Rebecca Winters and fiancé Steven; his beloved Nana, Fern Hartmann; his in-laws, Thomas and Stephanie Nau, and Betty Nau; three sisters-in-law; two brothers-in-laws, along with many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins. And friends too numerous to mention. Family will receive friends Thursday February 25, 2016 from 2:00-4:00pm and 6:00-8:00pm at Simpson Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held 2:00pm Friday February 26, 2016 in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park with Pastor David Emigh officiating. Following the graveside service there will be a Celebration of Jason’s life at the Cornerstone Church, 6930 Woodhaven Road, Roanoke, 24019, where all can share memories of Jason.
