Carol Kirby Cameresi, 78, of Roanoke, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, February 17, 2016. She was preceded by her husband, Angelo Cameresi; daughter, Victoria Williams; parents, Claude and Josephine Kirby; a brother, Claude Kirby Jr.; and a sister, Charlotte Jean Adkins.
Mrs. Cameresi retired from Sears.
Surviving are her son, Chris Cameresi; grandchildren, Jamie and Crystal Williams; son-in-law, Randy Williams; a number of nieces and a nephew.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorials be made to the American Lung Association or to the foundation for Sarcoidosis Research.
Funeral services will be conducted 10:30 a.m. Saturday, February 20, 2016, at Simpson Funeral Home, 5160 Peters Creek Road, by the Rev. Jesse Howard. Interment will follow in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Simpson Funeral Home, 540-366-0707.
