Joseph F. Bush, 42, of Salem, passed away Friday, February 12, 2016. Joseph was a 1995 graduate of Hampden-Sydney College. Joseph was preceded in death by his grandparents, Edward and Frances Bush, Hugh S. Fitzgerald, and Uncle T. Patrick Fitzgerald. He is survived by his parents; Joseph & Katherine Bush; children, Lauren T. Bush, Caroline N. Bush; Grandmother, Katharine A. Fitzgerald; sister, Katrina Cantrell and husband Fitzhugh; two nephews, Charlie Cantrell and Sam Cantrell; uncle, David Bush and wife Gail; cousins, Ashley Hickman and husband Brad, Holly Crawford and husband Drew, and Clay Bush and wife Candice; mother to Lauren and Caroline Bush, Julie Gilliam. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Hampden-Sydney College Security and Police Department. A service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at the College Church at Hampden-Sydney College. Interment will follow services in the Hampden-Sydney Church Cemetery.
