Brenda H. Thomas, 66, of Vinton, went to be with the Lord, Wednesday, January 27, 2016. Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, Garland & Doris Hogan, as well as a brother Ralph "Ed" Hogan. Left to cherish her memory is husband Berkley A. Thomas; son Berkley E. Thomas; brother Lee Hogan; and sister Judy Keen; as well as 3 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild. The family will receive friends Sunday, January 31, 2016 from 4-8 p.m. at Simpson Funeral Home. A graveside service will be conducted on Monday, February 1, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Cedar Lawn Memorial Park. Arrangements by Simpson Funeral Home & Crematory. (540)366-0707.
