Marsha Holland Scott, 73, of Roanoke passed away Friday, January 8, 2016. She was preceded in death by her husband, Pete Pedro Scott, parents, Atlas and Wallace Holland, and an aunt Dorothy Baker. Mrs. Scott retired from Eli Lily after many years of service. She was a member of Villa Heights Baptist Church.Surviving are her son, Leslie Lee Scott and wife Cindy; uncle, Jasper L. Baker and his daughter, Jane L. Baker.In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorials be made to the American Cancer Society.The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at Simpson Funeral Home 5160 Peters Creek Road. Services will be private. Arrangements by Simpson Funeral Home & Crematory. 366-0707
