Nancy C. Smith, 74, of Roanoke went to her heavenly home on Tuesday, January 5, 2016 after a long courageous battle with COPD. In heaven to greet her were her father and mother, Sherman and Georgie Winebarger, special sister, Lynda; and three sisters and two brothers.
Left here to cherish her memory are her husband of 57 years, Bill Smith; loving children, Sandra and husband Ronnie, Billy, Bruce and wife Kim; grandchildren, Amanda and Austin (Susan); twin great grandsons, Kamden and Ryder; sisters, Susan (Buddy), Wanda (PeeWee), Phyllis (Pete), Marie (Don); brother, Bill (Judy) and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Thursday, January 7, 2015 at Simpson Funeral Home by the Rev Kenneth Lane. The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. until service time at Simpson Funeral Home 5160 Peters Creek Road. 366-0707
