Leonard Lee Pugh 75 of Salem went to be with the Lord on Saturday December 19, 2015. His mother, two brothers, and a sister preceded him.
Mr. Pugh, a devout Christian was a member of The Calvary Baptist Church in Salem for many years. When he could, he volunteered at the Salem Veterans Hospital, the Rescue Mission, and enjoyed singing with his group at local nursing homes.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of many years, Shirley Pugh; two daughters, Rebecca P. Stafford, and Jacqueline Louise Pugh both of Salem; three grandchildren; six great grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Desiree and son-in-law Tommy. Along with a host of other relatives and close friends too numerous to mention. The family would like to give a special thank you to their Pastor and dear friend, Roger Counts.
A graveside service will be held 2:00pm Wednesday December 23, 2015 in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens Musoleum with Pastor Roger Counts officiating.
Friends may visit with the family Tuesday December 22, 2015 from 5:00-8:00pm at Simpson Funeral Home and Crematory, 5160 Peters Creek Road, Roanoke, Virginia 24019
