Obituary of Ralph Branson Graham

Ralph Branson Graham, 84, of Salem, passed away Tuesday, December 15, 2015. He was preceded in death by his wife of 25 years, Margery "Margie" Graham; parents, Branson and Reva Graham, and brothers Ray and Bill.
Left to cherish his memory are three sisters, Catherine, Margie, and Elaine; sons, Stacy (Brenda) Graham of Check, Tracy Graham of Lynchburg; stepchildren, Debra (Randy) Feury of Vinton, Jim (Ingrid) Jones of Amburg, Germany, Gary Jones of Roanoke, and Barry Jones of Fuquay Varina, N.C. He will also live in the memories of 12 grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and many nieces; and nephews.
Ralph grew up in Floyd County. He was a veteran of the Korean War, where he served on the USS Casa Grande LSD-13. He drove tractor-trailers for years and finally retired from the maintenance department at Roanoke Valley Psychiatric Center of Salem.
Funeral Services will be conducted 3 p.m. Friday, December 18, 2015 at Simpson Funeral Home 5160 Peters Creek Road. Interment will follow in Daleville Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Arrangements by Simpson Funeral Home, 540-366-0707.
