I was sorry to hear about the loss of your loved one. Please take comfort from the Bible’s promise of a resurrection at John 5:28 & 29. The bible gives us the wonderful prospect of seeing our loved ones again on a paradise earth. At Psalms 37:9-11 & 29, it gives us the hope of living forever on a paradise earth with our loved ones. It will be a time when Isaiah 33:24 will take place and “no resident will say ‘I am sick.” On this paradise earth, Rev. 21:4 promises us that “death will be no more.” I know this may not relieve your deep grief at this time, but please take faith in God’s promises. I would like to share additional comforting scriptures with you, if you are interested, please email me at obxclarks@yahoo.com

To the family of Marshall Page: I knew Marshall from the YMCA back in the late 80's/early 90's. He was a nice man, and very fit...he worked hard at staying fit. I am so sorry that he died so young. My deepest condolences to his family. Sincerely, Dreama

Mary Ann We were so sorry to hear about Marshall. We didn't even know he was ill. There sre really no words we can say that will make this easy for you and your boys but we wanted you to know you were in our thoughts and our prayers. Mike always enjoyed going to the Pearisburg Festival because he knew Marshall would be there with his car and he would get to talk to him. He has always thought alot of both of you. This is a life gone too soon and he will be missed by everyone who knew him. Please know you will be in our prayers and God will give you the strength to endure this pain. May God bless you and your family and wrap His arms around you and give you peace and confort.

Mary Anna, Shayne, Mary, Derick, Karin, Grace, and Aunt Jennie The obit says it all: Marshall was a loving son, brother, husband, special son-in-law, brother-in-law, dad, Pop-paw, friend and neighbor. It is incomplete; however, He was also an excellent Cousin and Nephew. I remember that my mother always called him handsome. It was cool that he helped keep people warm in the winter and cool in the summer, and kept goods moving for everyone’s benefit. We never have our loved ones as long as we would like; but we will always have their memory. He also lives on in his fine children and grandchild. We (Paul Jr, Paul III, Paul IV, Kay, and Grace) will make a donation to the Rescue Mission in Marshals name. The Stones

Mary Ann, Shane and Derick,I don't remember if I ever met you guys, but for some reason I think I may have met you, Mary Ann. Regardless, I was one of "Blue's" and Alex's ole sweaty work-out buddies from the "Y." I never knew him by Marshall, or Wayne, only as Blue, and he was anything other than blue; always a slight grin or smile on his face and fun to be around. I left the "Y" around 2006 when I took a new job in the Salem area, but I never forgot how much I enjoyed being around and working out with Blue and Alex. I was so sorry to hear of his illness and then to learn of his passing. Please know that my thoughts and prayers remain with you and your family as Blue is surely missed by many within our community. From now on when I hear thunder, it's not God moving funiture, it's Blue dropping the weights on the floor of the gym room in heaven - God Bless You Blue, You are missed by many... With Love; Rick Weekly

Blue worked with my dad at the railroad and they went on several fishing trips after dad retired. I would hear the fish stories and I could tell my dad really enjoyed himself. Who was this nice man that included my dad on these trips? Come to find out he was in my bowling league. It was so funny. He came up to me and said "I worked with your dad". I was like "what?". I looked up at the scoreboard and saw "Marshall Page". I looked at him curiously because everyone at the railroad has a nickname and I wondered which one he could be. He smiled and said "I'm Blue". Imagine my surprise! What a small world. Blue was a wonderful man. Always smiling, friendly and ready with a kind word. He will be greatly missed by everyone and I am so glad to have known him. Many thoughts and prayers to Mary Anna and his family.
