Obituary of Shirley Ann Manspile

Shirley T. Manspile, 89, of Roanoke, went home to be with the Lord Friday, November 20, 2015. She was preceded in death by her husband, William A. (Bill) Manspile Sr.; a grandson, Todd Clements; and a son-in-law, A.C. Allman. Shirley was a longtime member of Glad Tidings Assembly of God now known as Life Church. She was a former employee of Lewis Gale Hospital and co-owner of Manspile Painting Company. Surviving are her daughters, Carol Allman, Sheila Clements and husband, Sam, Belinda West and husband, Lanny; son, William A. (Bill) Manspile Jr.; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; special friend and caregiver, Tiffany Harris. Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Tuesday, November 24, 2015, at Simpson Funeral Home, 5160 Peters Creek Road, by the Rev. Larry Kessler. Interment will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Simpson Funeral Home, 540-366-0707.
