Clinton James Crockett, Sr. 94 of Elliston went home to be with his Lord Saturday, November 14, 2015. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Elizabeth Wise and his beloved wife of 58 years, Goldie L. Crockett.
Mr. Crockett served in the U S Navy during World War II and retired after 30 years of service with the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Salem.
Surviving are his son, Clinton J. Crockett, Jr.; granddaughters, Alisha and Ashlei Crockett.In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorials be made to First Baptist Church of Elliston.
A home going service will be conducted Noon Friday, November 20, 2015 at First Baptist Church of Elliston with the Rev. Paul Lee Andrews, Sr. and the Rev. Lee Pusha officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Arrangements by Simpson Funeral Home. 366-0707
