Doris Yeatts, 80, of Roanoke passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, October 18, 2011. She was preceded in death by two daughters: Emily Kelly and Bonnie Golashovsky, three sisters and one brother. Surviving are daughters, Barbara (Gilbert) Peters, Debbie (Mark) Tucker; sons, Ricky (Mary Jo) Yeatts and Robert Yeatts; twelve grandchildren, and twenty one great grandchildren. Living at "Granny's" house more than in their own homes were grandchildren, Kristina, Jonathan, and Marvin. In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorials be made to Gentle Shepherd Hospice 6045 Peters Creek Road Roanoke, Va. 24019. There will be no funeral service. The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Simpson Funeral Home 5160 Peters Creek Road. 366-0707
