Charles R. Haley, Sr. 74 of Roanoke went to be with the Lord on Wednesday October 28, 2015. The last of the magnificent seven (Parents-Doug & Kate Haley, Brothers-Salty, Dayton, Billy, and Chicken Haley); Charles Haley was a loving Daddy, caring husband, dependable friend. He cared for nothing more than the smile and laughter of his Family. An accomplished businessman, Gambler, Joker, Prankster, and risk taker. Always carried himself with dignity and pride; could hold board meetings with executives or handle himself at the bar. A man of many facets that we all know and love. He will be Greatly missed. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 38 years Pamela Haley; two sons, Charles Haley, Jr., and Ricky Haley and wife Brenda of S.C.; two daughters, Dematress Hitchcock and husband Vernon of Boones Mill, Teresa Pissanos and husband Nick of Roanoke; four grandchildren, Haley Hitchcock, Tyler Pissanos, Olivia Haley and Sylvia Thompson. Along with numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. A celebration of life service will be held 11:00am Monday November 2, 2015 in Simpson Funeral Home with Rev. Doug Gibson officiating. Interment will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends Sunday November 1, 2015 from 2:00-5:00pm at Simpson Funeral Home.
