Obituary of Mabel Gertrude Tuck

Mabel Wright Tuck, 88, of Roanoke passed away Saturday, October 3, 2015. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence Jacob and Bessie Bailey Wright, and her husband Laurie H. Tuck.
Mrs. Tuck was a member of Northview United Methodist Church. She loved to spend time working in her flower beds or just quietly watching the birds and squirrels.
Surviving are her son, Wayne Tuck and best friend Sue LaPrade; daughter, Rosemary Harris and husband Tim; grandchildren, Brandon Tuck and wife Missy; Jacob Tuck, Garrett Harris, and Lance Harris; great grandchildren, Hope Tuck, MacKenzie Tuck, and Mason Tuck; sister-in-law, Frankie Smith; and a niece, Lisa Tuck Shell.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorials be made to the Hollins Rescue Squad or to Northview United Methodist Church.
Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at Simpson Funeral Home 5160 Peters Creek Road. Interment will follow in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at Simpson Funeral Home. 366-0707
