Ravenelle Lambert Brammer, 59, of Vinton passed away Wednesday, September 23, 2015. She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Rosetta Moran Lambert and was employed by Lawrence Transportation Systems for 41 years.
The happiest moments of her life were the moments she spent in gymns and on ball fields watching her children compete.
Surviving are her husband of 31 years, David F. Brammer; son, Jared Thomas Brammer; daughter, Kassie Mignon Brammer; and her "favorite sister-in-law and favorite brother-in-law", Sharon and Melvin Dunman. She is also survived by many loving cousins and friends.
The family would like to offer a special thanks to the caring nurses in the CCU Unit and on 7 South at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorials be made to the SPCA.
A celebration of Ravenelle's life will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, September 26, 2015 at Simpson Funeral Home 5160 Peters Creek Road with Dr. William (Bill) Booth officiating. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday, at Simpson Funeral Home. 366-0707
