Becky Kay Edwards 60 of Roanoke went to be with the Lord on her birthday August 20, 2015. Becky worked at the Pancake House on Williamson Road in Roanoke for over 35 years.
Ms. Edwards is survived by her mother, Shirley “Frankie” Edwards; a son Denny Edwards and his wife Tiffany; two daughters, Sarah Edwards and Moe, Jamie Edwards and CJ; four grandchildren, Daniel and Kimberly Gurley, Camden Bowes and Christian Edwards; along with three brothers, David Edwards and his wife Tammy, Granville Edwards and his wife Lona, and Randall Edwards; one sister, Shelby Powers and her husband Jeff, father of her children, James Kemp; a brother-in-law, Eric Slusser, along with numerous nieces, nephews and dear friends.
The celebration of Life Service will be officiated by Pastor Dr. Larry W. Lykens and Karen Rigney. Interment will be in the Mount Pleasant Church Cemetery, in Botetourt County, Virginia.
Becky was and is dearly loved by everyone, and will be missed by all who knew her.
