Obituary of Harold Deel

Harold L. Deel, 75, of Troutville died unexpectedly, Monday, April 30, 2012. Harold was born in Roderfield, West Virginia and lived in Bristol most of his life until making his home with his daughter in 2007. He was the son of the late Roland and Ida Collins Deel. Harold was a diesel mechanic and retired from Bristol Ready-Mix. He served in the United States Air Force; enjoyed deep sea fishing and watching basketball. In addition to his parents, Harold was preceded in death by his wife Betty Deel in 1988, and two brothers. Surviving are his daughter and son in law, Joni and Scott St. Pierre of Troutville; grandchildren, Stephanie Frame, Rachael St. Pierre, and Adam St. Pierre; brother and sister in law, Glen and Rose Deel of Richlands, Virginia; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Deel Family P O Box 392 Daleville, Va. 24083. A graveside service will be conducted 1 p.m. Friday in Palestine Chapel Church Cemetery, Hemaitite, Virginia with the Rev. Godfrey officiating. The family will receive friends at the graveside.
