Obituary of Nancy S Lynch

Nancy Gatewood St.Clair Lynch, 72, of Salem passed away Tuesday, August, 11, 2015. She was an employee of TAP before retiring in 2005. She had been active with the Salem Red Sox Booster Club and Lafayette United Methodist Church. Nancy had been a part of the Salem Volunteer Rescue Squad and went through the Salem Police Citizen's Academy. She enjoyed life through family and friends. She loved all types of music, reading, needle point, and crocheting. She was considered a "mom" to many. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard "Peaches" St.Clair and Ellen "Pud" St.Clair of Salem, and her brother Richard St.Clair of Vero Beach, FL. She is survived by her daughters, Micy Lynch and Ruth Lynch; son-in-law, Lance Smith; grandsons, Nicolas Clements and Dylan Lynch all of Salem; siblings, Sarah (Bill) Wing of Ooltewah, TN; Lorain (Jim) Myer of Salem and Leonard "J" (Linda) St.Clair of Daleville; brother and sisters-in-law, Terry (Shirley) Lynch of San Diego, CA; Fred (Dolores) Lynch of Naples, FL; and Jean Ryan of Clearwater, FL; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorials be made to the Lafayette Cemetery, the Salem Red Sox Booster Club, the Salem Rescue Squad, or Good Samaritan Hospice.
