Ricky LaPradd, Sr. 57 of Moneta went home to be with the Lord Thursday, June 18, 2015. He was preceded in death by his father, Paul L. LaPradd, Jr. Ricky was a longtime coach in the Roanoke area.
Surviving are his wife of 38 years, Florence Niday LaPradd; children, Ricky LaPradd, Jr.(Melissa), Chris LaPradd (Allison), Mark LaPradd and fiancé Tina Burnopp, Josh LaPradd, and Felicia Watson; eight grandchildren; mother, Carol LaPradd; sisters, Kathy Small (Roger), Fay Clark (Kenny), Mary King (Doug), brothers, Paul LaPradd, III, and Lester LaPradd; numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 23, 2015 at Simpson Funeral Home 5160 Peters Creek Road. Interment will be in Fair View Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. Monday at Simpson Funeral Home. 366-0707
