Obituary of Susan Diane Snyder
On Friday July, 8 2022 Susan Snyder, Mother, Daughter, Sister, Aunt and Best Friend, passed away at the age of 55.
Susan had recently retired from Carillion Roanoke Memorial Hospital and was looking forward to exploring new opportunities. Susan was an avid collector and had spent many years managing an antique and collectables booth. She always lived by the rule, you can never own enough vintage Chintz China. She loved nature, long drives along the Blueridge Parkway and hiking.
Susan loved and was loved very much by her family and friends. She is survived by her son, Steven Michael, her mother Lou, her sister Paula, her brother David, her best friend and Steven’s father Jeff and her nephews and niece.
A service to honor Susan’s life will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 16, 2022 in the Chapel of Simpson Funeral Home, 5160 Peters Creek Road Roanoke, VA 24019 (540) 366-0707, with Rev. Herb Shaffer officiating.
