Harvey Douglas Persinger, 76, went to be with the Lord on Friday, June 10, 2022. He was born and raised in Oriskany, Virginia. He was the son of the late Marshall E. Persinger and the late Susie Bowman Persinger. He was also preceded in death by a sister, June Elaine Persinger.
He is survived by his sister, Judy Persinger Looney; brother, Marshall E. Persinger, Jr.; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at 1 pm on Tuesday, June 14, 2022 at Fairview Cemetery in Buchanan, Virginia with Pastor David Cox officiating. The family will speak to friends following the service.
