Obituary of Margarete Anna Hamblin
Margarete Anna P. Hamblin, 81, passed away on Friday, May 27, 2022 at her home. She was preceded in death by her husband, James H. Hamblin; parents, Franz and Margaret Paukert; sister, Edith Ailer. She was a loving mother, and friend who loved walking, working in her flowers and talking with and enjoying people.
Margarete is survived by a daughter, Katrina Bailey (Mike); three grandchildren, Emily, Christopher and Matthew Bailey all of Burnt Hills, NY; brother, Gerhard Ailer (Heather), as well as numerous nieces and nephews in Germany.
She will also be missed by her special childhood friend and her husband, Katy and Walter in Germany, walking partner, Emily Hurst, neighbors, the people she worked with in the chip production lab and especially her life companion for the last twenty one years, Danny Kittinger.
Margarete would want all who know her to go for a walk with a friend, work in the flowers in your yard, or talk with a friend or neighbor. Foremost is for one to enjoy life today: you know not what tomorrow brings.
