Mary Lee Wray Russell of Moneta was called to her tee time with her Lord on Wednesday Morning May 29, 2019. She was born to the late Frank and Mamie Wray in Roanoke, Virginia. Mrs. Russell was also preceded by her two sisters, Bobby Burton and Gladys Thompson. Mrs. Russell was a graduate of William Byrd High School and a long time employee of Double Envelope.

To cherish her memories, she leaves behind her husband of 56 years, A. E. Russell Jr.; her son, Michael Russell and his wife Tracy; granddaughter, Taylor Russell; step grandson, Kyle Wright; one sister, Shirley Light and her husband Melvin; one brother, Jimmy Wray and his wife Linda. Along with a sister-in-law, Linda Vest and husband Randy.

A Celebration of her life will be 11:00am Monday June 3, 2019 at East Lake Community Church, 1118 Hendricks Store Road, Moneta, VA 24121. Inurnment will be private. Condolences may be left for the family at www.simpsonfuneral.com. Arrangements handled by Simpson Funeral Home, 366-0707.
