John Frank Stultz, 60, of Roanoke, went home to be with the Lord Thursday, June 5, 2014. He was preceded in death by his parents, Tom and Kitty Stultz; brother, David Allen Stultz; and a daughter, Tammy Stultz Journell. Mr. Stultz served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Surviving are his daughter, Crystal Stultz Reed of Blue Ridge; son, David Allen Stultz and wife Misty of Shawsville; special stepdaughter, Lynanne Jamison Yndestad; grandsons, Jamie Lee Stultz, Devon and Noah Journell, Zack Champney, Brandon Martin and Jordan Stultz; brothers, Tommy Stultz and wife Carolyn, Jimmie Stultz and wife Jean, Eddie Stultz and wife Joanne; sisters, Connie Stultz Arnold, and Brenda Stultz Wampler and husband Bob. The family offers a very special thank you to the staff at the Salem VA Medical Center for their love and their many acts of kindness and compassion. Funeral services will be conducted 10 a.m. Monday, June 9, 2014 at Simpson Funeral Home 5160 Peters Creek Road. Interment will follow in Sherwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Simpson Funeral Home, (540)366-0707.
