Christine Thurman Reiley, 90 of Roanoke went home to be with the Lord, Sunday, May 18, 2014. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert "Mint" and Mary Thurman, sisters, Gertrude Doxey and Bess Pickeral and a sister in law, Maxine Thurman. Surviving are her brothers, Tom Thurman and wife Ella Mae Thurman, Bob Thurman and wife Peggy, and Wayne Thurman; sons, Gary Pickeral and wife Margaret, Terry Pickeral; daughter, Becky Adams and husband David; six grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, and a dear friend, Gladys Paulian. The family invites friends to gather with them at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 21, 2014 in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens for a graveside service. Dr. Dave Adams will officiate. The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Simpson Funeral Home . 366-0707
