Roy C. "Speedy" Leedy, Jr., 61 of Roanoke passed away Wednesday, April 23, 2014.
Roy served in the U S Marine Corps and sold time shares for 17 years all over the east coast.
Surviving are his daughters, Christy Leedy of Crystal River, Florida; Megan Leedy of Roanoke; grandson, A'darious Neely; sisters, Robin McKee and Dawn Leedy both of Roanoke; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 25, 2014 in the Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery, Dublin, Va. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00p.m. Thursday April 24, 2014 at Simpson Funeral Home 5160 Peters Creek Road, 540-366-0707.
