Tammy Stultz Journell, 41, of Shawsville went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, April 9, 2014. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Thomas Benjamin, Sr. and Kathleen Argabright Stultz. Tammy was a graduate of Shawsville High School and worked for many years as a caregiver. Surviving are her children, Jamie Lee Stultz, Devon Tyler Journell, and Noah Ellis Journell; mother, Debbie Perdue and stepfather Gary Perdue; father, John (Frank) Stultz; grandparents, Sonny and Vivian (Granny) Kessler; sisters, Crystal Stultz Reed and Jasmine Perdue; brothers, David Stultz and wife Misty, Daniel Perdue, and Cody Perdue; special friend Eugene Austin; and several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorials be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Monday, April 14, 2014 at the Shawsville Congregational Holiness Church with Pastor Wesley Conner officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday at Simpson Funeral Home 5160 Peters Creek Road. 366-0707
