Claudine Wright Huffman of New Castle, Va. born July 23, 1935 lost her courageous battle with cancer Monday March 17, 2014. She was preceded by her parents, Elbert and Lillie Wright, of Craig County, husband, Howard Huffman, brothers, James and Fred Wright and sisters, Alma Smith and Allene Huffman.
Surviving are her daughter, Wanda Huffman; sister, Edna Crowder; brother and sister-in-law, Wayne and Billie Wright; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; and she was loved and will be remembered by many friends and co-workers.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 2840 Electric Road, Suite 106A, Roanoke, Va. 24018 or to a charity of your choice in her name.
A service celebrating Mrs. Huffman's life will be held 2:00pm Wednesday March 19, 2014 in Simpson Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Sherwood Memorial Park.
