Don E. "PawPaw" Luther, 77 of Roanoke, went home to be with the Lord, Tuesday, March 4, 2014. He was preceded in death by his father, mother and daughter, Kathy Camper. Mr. Luther retired from Lloyd Electric Company after thirty five years of service. He was an avid bowler for forty plus years at AMF Hilltop Lanes. He was a devoted husband, father and "PawPaw". Surviving are his wife of 45 years, Lorraine "MeMaw" Luther; children, Michael Kuebler and wife Sherri of California; Janet DeLong and husband Dino of South Carolina; James Kuebler and wife Debbie of Hurt, Va.; Tracy Taylor and Stephanie; Jeff Luther and wife Ginger all of Roanoke; sixteen grandchildren, twenty one great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted 11:30 a.m. Saturday, March 8, 2014 at Simpson Funeral Home 5160 Peters Creek Road by the Rev. Troy Mays. Interment will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. Friday at Simpson Funeral Home.
