Virginia Marie "Ginny" Huffine of Roanoke passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 9, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin, parents, William and Susan Blackwell, stepfather, Leonard Blackwell, and sisters, Florence Howell and Helen Wade. Left to cherish her memory is her sister, Frances Gross of Roanoke; nephew, Gary Wade of Leesville, LA; nieces, Debbie Bayliss (Jimbo) of Alexandria; and Susan Johnson (Chris)of Richmond; as well as numerous great nephews and great nieces. Ginny is also survived by devoted nieces Cindy Johnson (Mike Klocek); Bonnie Douglas and great nephew, Brandon Boothe (Samantha), all of Roanoke, and her little Ray of Sunshine, Connor Boothe, also of Roanoke. The family will honor Ginny's request that her remains be cremated and that there be no visitation or service. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Heart Association Memorial & Tribute Processing Center 4217 Park Place Court Glen Allen, VA 23060.
