Obituary of Helen Boone

Helen Hayes Boone, 84, of Roanoke, entered peacefully into eternal rest at 11:29 a.m. Wednesday, January 22, 2014. She was fortunate to be able to rest in her bed at her daughter's home. She was surrounded as family recited the Lord's Prayer and her grandson sang Amazing Grace.
Helen was born December 23, 1929. She was married to Leon Boone, who preceded her in death.
Helen is survived by her two daughters, Ramona Clements and Judie Mullins; four grandchildren, Rebecca Leveille, Robert Leveille, Sr., David Leveille, and Chris Clements; ten great grandchildren; and eleven great great grandchildren.
As Helen's last unselfish act, she chose to participate in a whole body donation through Anatomical Donations. A memorial service will be held in Nags Head in June with her family.
