Maudie Eliza Epperly 72 of Salem went to be with the Lord on Wednesday January 8, 2104. She was born August 10, 1941, and was preceded by her parents; 2 sisters, and a grandson.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 55 years, George "Billy" Epperly, Jr.; daughter, Terry Ford; sons, Dwayne (Angie) Epperly, Brian Epperly; sisters, Ellen Linkous, Lorene Crawford, Joan (Onie) Willis, Juanita (Harold) Dunn, Julie (CJ) Wolfe, Joy Gibson; brother, Paul (Becky) Edwards; 5 grandchildren, Joe (Aynsley) Sowers, Alicia Ford, Dougie (Jessica) Epperly, Michael Epperly and Aaron Epperly; 13 great grandchildren, and many other family members and friends.
The family would like to give a special thank you to Good Samaritan Hospice and caregiver, Sherri for all their care and support during this difficult time.
A memorial service celebrating Mrs. Epperly's life will be held 1:00pm Saturday, January 11, 2014 at Simpson Funeral Home. Friends may visit with the family from 11:00am till service time Saturday.
