Thomas B. McCormick 75 of Roanoke and formerly of Tazewell County went to be with the Lord on Friday January 3, 2014. He was preceded by his parents, Addie T. and Emma C. McCormick; his loving wife, Margaret B. McCormick; son, Stephen McCormick; sister, Margaret Norwood. Mr. McCormick lived and worked for many years in Tazewell County before retiring to Roanoke in 1997. He spent his life as a caring son, husband, father, and grandfather who will be missed dearly by his grandchildren, but left his family many wonderful memories to cherish. Left to cherish those memories are his children, Doug McCormick of Wilson, NC. and his wife Connie, Greg McCormick of Dobson, NC. and his wife Maggie, and Beth Stout of Roanoke and husband Rob; grandchildren, Samantha, Stephanie, Zack, Josh, Brandon, and Abby; a sister, Betsy Jones, along with a host of other relatives. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society in his Mr. McCormick's memory. In keeping with his wishes, a graveside service celebrating Mr. McCormick's life will be held 12:00pm Monday January 6, 2014 in the Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens Mausoleum with Rev.
