Lois Elizabeth Horne 81 of Salem went to be with the Lord on Thursday December 26, 2013. She was preceded by a daughter, Janice Blunt and a great granddaughter, Madison Franklin.
Surviving are her husband, Billy Horne; children, Randy Franklin and wife Martha of Roanoke, Gwen Caywood and husband Eddy of Salem, Billy Franklin of Roanoke, John Franklin of Hardy, Brian Horne and wife Meadow of Charlottesville; four grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; one brother, Irvin Doran and wife Nancy of Roanoke; along with many dear friends.
A memorial service celebrating Mrs. Horne's life will be held 4:00pm Saturday December 28, 2013 in Simpson Funeral Home with Pastor Christopher Yopp officiating.
